About the role

Working closely with their clients, the Consulting and Technology professionals design, build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance. They develop specialized expertise—strategic, industry, functional, technical—in a diverse project environment that offers multiple opportunities for career growth.

This role requires the selected professional to enable the deployment of Technology solutions for their clients with a business and value led proposition.

Supply Chain Technology and Consulting Leaders formulate supply chain strategies that go beyond company boundaries and functional areas through an understanding of the effects of manipulating supply chain levers at the operating model level. They design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients.

Over the last 12 months, the demand for Technology platforms and solutions has grown considerably in South East Asia. Commensurate with this demand we are looking for a Senior Supply chain professional that can drive and enable the growth over the next 3-5 years. Our client has various Ecosystem Partners and has global relationships with Blue Yonder, SAP, Microsoft, Kinaxis, Anaplan, AWS and many others with this role having the responsibility to drive the growth of the practice and develop these relationships.

The person selected to lead this area will have the opportunity to own this growth area with the opportunity to grow within the organization with a clear succession plan.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for clients area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors that requires the deployment of Technology solutions.

  • Has a clear point of view on Supply Chain issues in Singapore and ASEAN and APAC markets to discuss with client and originate ideas that will turn into sold work and tangible business outcomes for our clients.

  • Identify a pipeline of clients where new Technology platforms and solutions can enable incremental value.

  • Origantes new opportunities with new and existing clients and converts identified potential clients in pipeline to sold opportunities >$10M p.a. with identified Technology providers and Ecosystem partners.

  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

  • Interacts with senior management at a client on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

  • Has some latitude in decision-making.  Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new Client assignments.

  • Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts.

  • An important leadership role that requires an entrepreneurial mindset to develop a practice and a sustainable business model.

  • Has a clear understanding of supply chain technology eco system, experience on selection process of technology platform.

  • Has exposure of core technology ERP platforms e.g., SAP, Oracle Microsoft etc., has a point of view on evolvement of technology landscape in client environment with cloud/IOT etc.

  • Has a clear point of view on digital transformation in supply chain, being able to provide a consulting view to clients on their technology roadmap to achieve digital transformation.

 

You will have

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with proven track record with the ability to influence clients and resolve client pain points with Technology and Business solutions.

  • Strong projects experience in in multiple dimensions of Supply Chain that may include strategy, planning, inventory optimization, warehousing, Transport and Control Tower solution with the adoption of the right Technology platforms.

  • Experience in leading large scale Technology and Transformation programs is essential.

  • Working level experience leveraging best of breed technologies to delivery optimized supply chains and improved visibility (E.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Microsoft etc.).

  • Proven track record in originating new opportunities with new and existing clients and converting identified potential clients in pipeline to sold opportunities >$10M p.a. with identified Technology providers and Ecosystem partners. 

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to develop a team and build a practice.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
