About the role

A Sales Lead with our client is a seasoned account executive who drives business through acquisition of new clients. They are currently looking for a sales talent to focus on their Public Sector business in Singapore.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Plan and execute appropriate business strategies to achieve Public Sector revenues in Singapore.

  • Lead business development activities and entrepreneurially pursues new account opportunities, using executive presence and business acumen.

  • Engage and manage client stakeholders at appropriate levels, including senior technology and business executives in the target clients.

  • Negotiate commercial terms of engagement while maintaining deal profitability.

  • Work with the delivery team and third-party vendors to ensure that project risks are minimized and project goals are met.

  • Focus on sale of outsourcing/managed services and system integration services.

  • Establish executive presence in new logo accounts that expands dialogues, contributes to transformative strategizing, and contributes to achieving status as a trusted advisor.

  • Enhance relationship with product vendors with joint go to market activities.

 

You will have 

  • More than 10 years of work experience in IT services with focus on Public Sector, working with large global multinational corporations.

  • Strong knowledge in the Public Sector including understanding of technology disruption trends and with strong connects.

  • Proven track records in strategic selling and developing new clients.

  • Must have prior experience in large scale project implementations and/or large scale outsourcing engagements.

  • Experience in managing large opportunities, working in an onsite / offshore model.

  • Should be a self-starter and be ready to start from the scratch and build accounts.

  • Strong customer relationship skills at various levels, from line managers to C levels.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill. 

  • Ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams. 

  • Should be a team player and able to lead different teams to a common goal.

  • Ability to influence decision making and work across executive and operational levels on IT and business.
