About our client

Our client specializes within the branding and advertising industry. They are growing rapidly and has already expanded their presence to SG and ID.

 

About the role

This role will require you to be responsible for the full spectrum of accounts and finance functions.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Financial reporting and Statutory reporting.

  • New client credit assessment and registration.

  • Overseas the entire spectrum of Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Collection and Billing support (external & inter-co) including liaising with clients and internally to resolve collection issues.

  • Review and maintain accounts receivable aging including deposits and pre-payment listing.

  • ERP management and enhancement.

  • Treasury management including cashflow reporting and liaising with bankers on banking matters.

  • Maintaining full sets of accounts.

  • Ensure month-end Financial Management reporting on time.

  • Yearly tax estimation (CP204 and subsequent revision).

  • Yearly budgetary preparation and revision.

  • Liaising with external auditors on annual audit, tax agent and corporate secretary.

  • Identify areas for process improvements and develop improvement plans.

  • Working closely with Market Activation team.

  • Other assigned adhoc duties.

 

You will have

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Member of CPA, CA or ACCA is preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in handling the related task, with 1-2 years working experience as an external auditor.

  • Demonstrates good customer focus approach and has strong communication skills.

  • Has knowledge and experience in using SAP will be an added advantage.

  • Has knowledge in SST/GST guideline and reporting, latest financial reporting standards and withholding tax guidelines.

  • Able to manage a small to medium team.

  • Meticulous and detailed oriented. Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
