About the role

We are seeking for an CI Manager to join our client who is a dynamic and rapidly expanding Shared Service. Ensuring that consistent best practice controls are in place and meet our client’s quality and compliance standards. Sharing knowledge in that respect with other country process supervisors, in own country group and the rest of the SSC; and challenge and drive positive changes into best practices in terms of the process and people management.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Be the Business Process Transformation Champion for the Finance and Accounting SSC and provide thought leadership and build capability embed Continuous Improvement and Automation across the Finance and Accounting function. To enable this, you will be working closely with Local Finance and Operation to develop a Continuous Improvement and Automation Roadmap and accountable for leading, executing and delivering on the agreed initiative to/with the functions.

  • Managing the change management process for Finance and Accounting SSC, partnering with Controls team on CCI review and improvements required.

  • Analysing customer needs, developing innovative solutions, and assessing business and technical impact of solutions.

  • Drive strategic projects of the Finance and Accounting SSC for process improvement; e.g. implementation of reconciliation tool, automation and workflow solutions for Finance and Accounting SSC.

  • Collaborate across the Finance functions to influence key decision-makers and drive automation improvement agenda for end to end process standardization and centralization.

  • Monitor and communicate the effectiveness and value of continuous improvement initiatives post implementation.

  • Assess processes to ensure meets governance and controls requirements.

  • Drive and support organization, cultural and innovation change for Finance functions.

 

You will have

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

  • At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in post qualification accounting and finance, experienced with Shared Service Centre environment, people & change management as well as working in a multicultural, international environment. At least 2 years’ experience at Managerial level.

  • Required Skill(s): General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Continuous Improvement, PMP, JD Edwards (or other ERP system) knowledge.

  • Technical Skills:

    • MS Office, JD Edwards (or other ERP system) knowledge; SAP transition.

  • Soft Competencies:

    • Drive for results, communicative, with analytical thinking, patient, problem-solving skills.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Good command of English.

    • Transition experience or JD Edwards implementation experience.

    • Full time dedicated - Available to travel wherever the function requires it.

    • Solid experience in managing projects.

    • Good understanding of operational manner of a Shared Service environment utilizing technology and standardization advantage to achieve the best sustainable cost structure, control and speed to enable continuous improvement.
