About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the delivery team, leading and mentoring project team members. You will ensure that project objectives, scope, constraints, and deliverables are clearly defined and that success criteria are met. Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing its CMS product based on new customer requirements, applying domain knowledge in Payments, Card, POS, ATM, and Financial Switching to code deliverables, and being an integral member of project teams deployed to customer sites for development, deployment, SIT, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
Your responsibilities
Delivery Team Participation: Be an active member of the delivery team, contributing to various stages of the project lifecycle.
Project Leadership: Lead and mentor project team members, ensuring clarity on project objectives, scope, constraints, and deliverables.
Development and Enhancement: Develop and enhance Cardzone CMS products based on new customer requirements.
Domain Knowledge Application: Learn and apply domain knowledge in Payments, Card, POS, ATM, and Financial Switching to software code deliverables.
Customer Site Deployment: Participate as an integral team member on project teams deployed to customer sites for specific stints, including development, deployment, SIT, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
You will have
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Java (J2SE, J2EE).
Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Familiarity with database servers such as Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.
Understanding of web application servers like Websphere, Oc4j, Jboss, Tomcat, etc.
Bonus Points:
Knowledge in mobile app development, the payments and cards industry, ISO8583, and NDC+.
