Our client is a global MNC in the shipping logistics industry.
About the role
This role based in the corporate office with functions that support multiple regions if not globally. We are looking caliber Treasury Analyst to manage debt exposure, reporting of Group bank guarantee status, produce weekly Group Cash status report and back up Bank Charges report.
Analyse and investigate weekly cash balance and fluctuations.
Communicate with respective controllers on the cash requirements.
Follow up remittance status with finance controllers if remittances are performed frequently.
Ensure bank accounts and their purpose are updated on timely manner.
Reconciliation and settlement of guarantee fee.
Monitor and update Guarantee Report based on confirmation from local team.
Create, renew and discharge new bank guarantees.
Arrange for settlement of guarantee fees.
Track guarantee fee calculation and billing from the bank, ensuring calculation is correct, and highlight to Cash Manager for further action when there is a deviation.
Assist in monthly Bank Charges report preparation.
Coach less-experienced peers.
Any other tasks to be assigned from time to time.
Act as back up for fellow team members within Debt management stream.
You will have
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or related discipline with 3 years of relevant working experience.
Must have Experience: Bank account structure, country banking constraints, data manipulation, Excel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and BPC.
Good to have: Oracle.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties which include IT personnel, controllers, auditors and corporate accounting staff.
Dedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skills.
Strong team player.
Ability to work under time pressure.
