​About our client

Malaysia-based company, established in 2008, specializes in Card Management System consulting services. They design, develop, and deploy financial message switching and card management products for various card programs like Credit, Debit/ATM, Loyalty, Pre-Paid, Fleet, and Gift Cards. Their flagship product, a comprehensive suite utilizing SOA technology, offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for card issuers and acquirers. Serving banking, financial institutions, large merchants, and service providers globally, the company emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Their mission is to lead in online payment transaction processing solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide support for applications implemented at client sites.

  • Fix program issues, debug code, develop programs, and implement customization features.

  • Ensure applications are operational and respond to incidents raised by clients within defined SLAs.

  • Respond to emergency callouts, perform first-level problem diagnosis, and escalate as necessary.

  • Monitor incident tickets in the Cardzone support portal, working diligently on open tickets until resolution.

  • Support multiple clients concurrently.

  • Work during non-business hours as needed.

  • Participate in a 24/7 rotation for production support.

  • Independently handle responsibilities related to incident support.

  • Apply domain knowledge (Payments, POS, ATM, Financial Switching) to software code deliverables.

You will have

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java (J2SE, J2EE).

  • Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, JSON, and AJAX.

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

  • Familiarity with SQL and database servers such as Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.

  • Understanding of web application servers like Websphere, Oc4j, Jboss, Tomcat, etc.

  • Proficiency in Unix Shell Commands.

  • Domain Knowledge: Experience with card management or payment systems, mobile application development, IS08583 & NDC+ message formats.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in system support with Java programming.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Production support experience.

  • Ability to work in Bangsar South and onsite (local or overseas) as required.

  • Willingness to travel overseas with provided per-diem allowance.

  • Team player with leadership and mentoring abilities (for senior positions).

Good To Have:

  • Design and build ioS and Andriod mobile application.

  • Good Knowledge of Andriod & iOS SDK's.

  • A portfolio of iOS/Andriod apps in the PlayStore/ App Store is a plus.

  • Hands on experience with Andriod studio & gradle build system.

  • Location and Map API's.
