About the role

Solution Architect analyses their customer's trade compliance procedures and deploys the Global Trade Management Intelligent Application Suite to fulfill their business requirements. During the customer deployment, the incumbent is the subject matter expert for the client's Global Trade Management Intelligent Application Suite.

Your responsibilities

Design, development, delivery, and management of solutions.

  • Lead efforts to design, develop, manage, and support solutions, which may include:

    • Analysis of As-Is Trade Compliance Processes Definition of To-Be Trade Compliance Processes relevant to the solution.

    • Detailed Functional Requirements Documentation.

    • Determination of any product adjustments and additions required to meet consumer expectations.

    • Definition and documentation of the Amber Road application's interface with the customer's ERP system(s).

    • Work with the internal technical team to identify and deliver any product adjustments and upgrades that are needed.

    • Oversight of test cycles that are necessary.

    • End-user training for customers.

  • Assist Global Trade Management Intelligent Application Suite as a functional specialist.

You will have

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate complex processes and functions to various stakeholder audiences, including business, technical, and executive levels.

  • Excellent formal and informal written communication skills.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably B.A or B.S.) from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience for a Software Professional Services organization.

  • Experience in International Trade, Logistics Management, or ERP - Sales Order Management / Purchase Order Management Systems is a plus.

  • Willing to travel when needed.
