Our client owns, develops and manages residential, retail, office and business space properties in Singapore. 

About the role

Our client is looking for an individual who can deliver a global transformation programme and are searching for an inspiring leader with a blend of vision and practicality. Someone who is comfortable with navigating unknowns and cultural nuances and dealing with complex programme management and corporate processes.

In the implementation of transformation initiatives across the organization, this role supports the Group CEO, Group Executives and management, to lead the program management of the Global Transformation Office; to analyse, connect and prioritise the order, management and coordination of multiple workstreams to create actionable solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Furthermore, this role will manage stakeholders’ communications and the regular reporting of progress across multiple workstreams as part of programme management.

Resilience, strong communications skills, along with an innate ability to connect the dots from strategy to implementation and execution is a must.

Your responsibilities

  • Set up the operating rhythm of the Transformation Office with Group CEO, Management and all workstream leads. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Oversight, track and manage the timelines and milestones of workstreams, to ensure timely and quality delivery in accordance to committed timelines and outcomes.

    • Daily program management to track and oversight execution across all workstreams (note: this role is not responsible for the execution of the workstreams but will have to oversight and coordinate across the workstreams to track/coordinate/report/ escalate on time, on target, on quality delivery.

    • Manage and coordinate regular reporting to Board and Group CEO as per operating rhythm.

    • Track transformation workstream progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

    • Identify synergies across workstreams, support optimization of resources across, resolve dependencies etc.

    • Making “call outs” when there are gaps, challenges or bottlenecks. Escalation to Board/Group CEO/ Management as appropriate.

  • Lead and guide change management and communications guidance for whole of program. Work with Group Branding and Communications to align, plan and coordinate appropriate and timely communications to the workforce.

  • Responsible for overseeing and driving large-scale organization change across our multi-cultural and multinational corporate landscape.

  • Develop, refine, and implement a global transformation plan aligned with business strategy, goals and objectives.

  • Ensure that the various workstreams leads are leading and overseeing the execution of their respective workstreams; ensuring quality, timely and on budget delivery and work closely with change management team.

  • Effective management of resources, including budget, manpower and technology to support the transformation initiatives.

  • Work with influencers and mobilisers across multiple countries, business units and functions to execute, communicate transformation initiatives, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams involved.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the transformation team, ensuring the development of the necessary tools, skills and resources to succeed.

  • Identify and manage transformation issues, risks and dependencies.

  • Stakeholder engagement with differentiated approaches across organization levels to gain buy-in and support by ensuring effective communications about the transformation goals, progress & impact.

  • Champion a culture of change, leading efforts by identifying potential obstacles, mitigation plans and foster adaptability and continuous improvement.

  • Establish and monitor metrics and KPIs measuring the progress and successful implementation of transformation workstreams and regular reporting to senior leadership.

  • Flexible and adaptable in the face of unexpected challenges or changes in the business environment, adjusting as needed to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals.

  • A strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading complex transformations and achieving equitable business results.

  • Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.

You will have

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in programme management. Strong program management (PM) skills are required, with expertise and knowledge of PM digital tools and analytics required to support its implementation work at scale.

  • Proven experience and ability to develop & implement transformation plans and lead team.

  • Deep understanding of critical business processes and operations.

  • Strong leadership and communications skills with the ability to influence, connect and manage stakeholders and influencers across all levels of the organisation.

  • Excellent programme management skills and conversant in change management.

  • Experience in managing across cultures and differentiated ways of working.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving-skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, leading and delivering through others.

  • Experience working in a shared services environment.
