Your responsibilities
Supporting client on-premises data center networks.
The availability, security, and continued operations of MaxxTrader’s global network.
The configuration and support of Arista, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and A10 products.
Supporting the migration of client’s customers from existing providers to their own infrastructure, providing an ongoing blend of project work and general BAU support services.
Ensuring efficient deployment and standard configuration management through automation.
Troubleshooting issues and handling incident escalations (occasionally out-of hours) while promoting production change management processes and procedures.
Interfacing with all levels of the business and constantly striving to achieve total internal customer satisfaction.
You will have
Good experience of working with IT network infrastructure.
Experience in technologies such as Arista switches, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco routing, and switching products, Juniper SRX, A10 Load Balancers, routing protocols, and network virtualization.
Specific network knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP.
Route aggregation and filtering, EVPN, VXLAN, VRFs, Fortinet and Cisco IPSec VPNs, FortiOS, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
Demonstratable knowledge of Rest APIs, Git, PKI.
Experience in automation and management of network configuration using Ansible, Python, Nornir or similar.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A degree in a related field, such as Engineering or Computer Science is desirable.
