About the role

The International Warehouse Operation Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the international expansion efforts. This role will focus on monitoring and assessing the performance of an existing international operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to company standards and policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing operational data, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of newly established international operations to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and operational procedures.

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to international operations, including sales performance, inventory management, logistics efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement through data analysis and develop actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Implement monitoring tools, systems, and processes to track and measure the effectiveness of international operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, supply chain, and finance, to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of international operations to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting formats and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and insights to senior management.

  • Lead post-setup evaluation projects and initiatives to assess the effectiveness of international expansion strategies and identify lessons learned for future endeavors.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements related to international operations and incorporate relevant insights into monitoring activities.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the monitoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will have

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on international operations.

  • Proven track record of successfully monitoring and optimizing operational performance in a multi-national environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.

  • Knowledge of retail industry trends, international trade regulations, and supply chain best practices is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
