About the role
You’ll be reporting to the CEO (based in the US) and responsible for defining the overall solution approach for the technologies utilized in the business line and in accordance with the Architecture Roadmap. The role works with business line stakeholders to support the intake of business requests, vetting them against defined roadmaps and incorporating them into Solution Approaches. Based in the Mid Valley area. Hybrid 2 days WFH & 3 days WFO.
Develop the enterprise strategy for specific business lines in consultation with business needs and align with regional and global roadmaps.
Working closely with the business, project, and development teams to ensure the solution approach is correct and being implemented in the approved manner.
Assist in preparation of business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development, and support.
Build Solution Architecture Approaches for key areas of the organization keeping within the boundaries of the published Enterprise Roadmaps.
Designing technology and solution deployment roadmaps.
Lead in designing and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration infrastructure and performance.

Required Skills and Knowledge
Strong leadership skills to lead change to effectively meet strategic and tactical solution driven goals.
Strong written and verbal communications skills required; must be equally comfortable discussing the solution strategies and enterprise roadmap with executives and implementation details with operational staff and IT.
Knowledge and experience of cloud focused designs and usage is essential.
Excellent, broad understanding of information technologies including IT infrastructure and service delivery.
Ability to assist in defining and socializing the enterprise roadmap.
Ability to translate the roadmap into tactical implementable steps.
Ability to apply methodologies: RUP, UML, OOP, Process Flow Diagrams.
Understands business architecture models & patterns.
Experience with data architecture.
Experience with service and integration architecture using an Enterprise Integration Platform such as Tibco, Mulesoft, etc.
Wide knowledge of multiple infrastructure/application technologies including (but not limited to): Open Systems (UNIX/LINUX), Enterprise Databases, Middleware, Web services, RESTFul APIs, Application development platforms, testing tools, HTML, High Availability designs, and technologies.
Knowledge of integrating solutions with standard Identity and Access management platforms (Okta preferred).
Knowledge of Authentication, Authorization concepts (SSO, SAML integration, identity federation, etc.)
Certification in one architecture discipline (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) is a distinct advantage.
Required Work Experience
10+ years of relevant solution architecture experience, including architecting end-to-end tier solutions and designing/developing architecture policies/standards.
Travel / Rotation Requirements
Availability to travel to offices in Singapore and UK on an as-required basis is a must-have.
