About the role
As a GDW Developer at this company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining global data warehouse (GDW) solutions. Your expertise in Node.js will be crucial in building robust and scalable data applications that meet business needs.
Your responsibilities
Development & Maintenance:
Develop, implement, and maintain GDW solutions using Node.js.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Data Integration:
Integrate data from various sources into the GDW.
Optimize ETL processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration:
Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other IT teams.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and data governance standards.
Performance Tuning:
Monitor and improve the performance of GDW applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data processing and integration.
Documentation:
Document data processes, architectures, and application logic.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.
You will have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2-7 years of experience in data development and integration.
Technical Skills:
Node.js (P3 - Advanced): Advanced proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Familiarity with database systems and SQL.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Knowledge of big data technologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
