About the role
Our client is looking for a self-driven and highly motivated supply chain manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. The winning candidate will be responsible for managing a team to drive best practices and operational excellence in warehousing and logistics that are in line with business objectives.
Your responsibilities
Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP)
-
Responsible for driving cross functional planning and collaboration in order to ensure an effective S&OP process.
Demand & Supply Planning
-
Responsible for driving the accuracy & efficiency of demand planning process and effective management of inventory levels.

Responsible for driving improvement initiatives to enable sales growth, customer service, inventory and logistics cost to maximize fulfilment of demand.
Customer Service and Order Fulfilment
-
Responsible for management of customer service requests and order management.
Warehousing and Distribution
-
Responsible for ensuring the performance of logistics network in respect to GTM, delivery performance and cost optimization and managing the relationship with logistics service providers.
Logistics inbound shipment
-
Follow all import process into Malaysia including custom clearance.

Liaise with suppliers and local transporter.
People Management
-
Responsible for managing the warehouse team in a harmony environment.

Responsible for competence development, succession planning, and talent management.
Key Deliverables:
-
Accuracy of monthly cycle count inventory.
-
Accuracy and on time of monthly order processing.
-
On time order delivery.
-
Local POD return < 2 working days.

Outstation POD return < 5 working days.
You will have
-
Degree qualification ideally in a relevant business or warehousing/logistics discipline.

Min 5 years working experience in supply chain/warehousing/logistics management.

Possess a change agent mindset and ability to drive change and improvement initiatives.

Possess strong operational experience and willingness to be hands-on.

Ability to think from a broad business perspective and strategically.

Possess strong team building skills.

Strong communication and influencing skills.

Good sense of urgency and timeliness.

Competency in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point skills.
