Your responsibilities

  • Driving Finance operations and controls of the Finance department.
  • Driving monthly financial reporting process.
  • Driving tax compliance and GST implementation.
  • Supporting the CFO in process improvements in terms of reviewing and implementing new policies and procedures which are line with internal controls of the organization.
  • Supporting the CFO in planning staff developments.
  • Performing ad-hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions and financial related board papers.
  • Analysing and provide recommendations to management on profitability improvement strategies and cost management/savings.

You will have

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Statistics or other similar business related disciplines. Professional qualifications ie: ACCA, CPA, CFA will be a great advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of total work experience with a minimum of 3 years of progressive roles in financial service industry or accounting services. Candidates with partial or full audit firm experience will be considered.
  • Advance level of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exposure in tax compliance including GST implementation/compliance.
  • Applied analytical skills with strong attention to details.
  • Intuitive ability to analyse, agility, positive thinking, problem solving and good interpersonal skills are the perfect traits for this job.
  • Comfortable to provide advisory and collaborate closely with top management and cross functional colleagues. 
  • Experience in Bursa Announcement will be added advantage.
