Our Client is a is a fast growing global financial software company. 

 

About the role

Our Client is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager who will focus on the APAC market, working closely together with the APAC sales team and the APAC services team. He/she will have overall responsibility for the region’s sales, third party alliances and customer satisfaction.  

 

Your responsibilities

The Sales Manager’s primary objective is to: 

  • Direct sales to leading financial institutions.

  • Business Development with potential third-party firms.

  • Evaluation of other potential sales streams in APAC.

  • Drive and grow Company’s APAC revenues.

 

Your functions will encompass:

  • Carry out market analysis and execute business development strategies.

  • Manage the sales process based on a defined sales strategy for the prospect.

  • Coordinate between the different stakeholders within the firm to define the best strategy to winning business proposals (RFI/RFP).

  • Negotiate and finalize business proposals until successful signature and contract win.

  • Proactively chasing business development for our product range of solutions, with an initial focus on our reference, market and investment data management solutions.

  • Follow up and development new business within existing accounts.

 

You will have

Required Knowledge & Skills: 

  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales in the field of financial software.

  • Proven track record in business development and sales across APAC region.

  • Develop & executive strategic plans to achieve Sales targets.

  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills with a strong network.

  • Self-starter, able to work independently while understanding the importance of effective cooperation with team members as well as stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of the financial data OR Enterprise Data industry in finance is a strong advantage.

  • Knowledge of the asset management and/or risk management processes and solutions is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of the Portfolio Management Systems is an advantage.

  • Good working knowledge of SalesForce (or similar CRM).

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

  • Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
