Key Responsibilities

  • Pitch for new business, negotiate contract terms and work with candidates.

  • Provide expert market knowledge and advice to employers.

  • Develop and manage ongoing client relationships - both on the phone and face to face by providing excellent customer service and superior candidate profiles.

  • Source suitable candidates through networking, advertising and referrals.

  • Proactively identify and recruit passive candidates, using sourcing strategies, cold calling, and networking tools.

  • Maintain the highest level of candidate networks, take responsibility for candidate care and keep in regular contact with candidates.

  • Provide resume, interview and career advice to candidates.

  • Interview candidates on a general basis and for specific roles. Calibrate all interviewed candidates, and make recommendations to hiring managers for interview selection.

  • Provide counsel to hiring managers during the assessment and evaluation of candidates, act as the primary negotiator and closer of selected candidates, as well as conducting thorough reference and background checks on all finalized candidates.

  • Manage the job offer process and negotiate salary packages effectively and professionally.

  • Ensure a positive client and candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

  • Maintain market and commercial leading awareness through research and networking.

  • Work as part of a team to maximize commercial opportunities.

  • Build relationships with hiring managers and develop a deep understanding of their positions and needs.

  • Source suitable candidates by getting to know key players in your functional area of expertise and build strong professional networks.

  • Achieve revenue targets in a fast moving and competitive sales environment.


You have:

  • A proven track record in business development and expanding your client base.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; and you are a detailed and organized person who can work within a team but also excel individually.

  • The ability to work within a target-driven environment and able to take direction but also demonstrate initiative.

  • The drive and business acumen to take responsibility for your own business.

  • Comfort in approaching and building relationship with new client through active business development effort.

  • A hard working and positive attitude to life & work with an honest, diligent and resourceful disposition.

  • Good written and verbal English language skills.

  • A strong track record in recruitment or in Business Development and Sales.
