About the role

As Regional Product Owner you own the vision and definition of the product. You are responsible for designing a transformational B2B ecommerce solution for adoption across multiple regional offices. You are end-responsible for the regional platform and your tasks include gathering business requirements & making fact-based prioritizations, defining sprint contents, and coordinating development with DevOps team(s). You are the sparring partner of the regional offices, and are able to challenge their ideas by understanding their route-to-market challenges and the underlying business implications of their decisions. 


Your responsibilities

  • Coordinating development with DevOps team(s) and main contact with external development partner.

  • Gathering requirements within participating with Regional offices, assessing regional vs local functionality, defining user stories based on requirements gathered from the organization.

  • Ensuring regional design principles & managing ambiguity and alignment on the solution while representing and prioritizing the needs of participating Regional offices through a product backlog in a fact-based manner.

  • Actively taking place in product development (e.g., scrum meetings).

  • Working together closely with support team to ensure issues that require development capacity are correctly liaised to DevOps team(s).

  • Managing product development on time, scope and budget.

  • Platform performance KPIs (e.g. new functionality development, e2e order mgt) Development releases within agile project mgmt. boundaries (i.e. time, budget).

  • Platform scalability, reliability & security. 


You will have

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in business and IT.

  • 5 years experience in an ecommerce product development (e.g., in role of Business Analyst, Product Owner, UX).

  • Scrum Product Owner training and certificate is highly recommended.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in an ecommerce product environment.

  • Demonstrable experience (3 years minimum) in leading teams.

  • Experience and knowledge of B2B ecommerce solutions and with agile methodologies & Scrum.

  • Strong leadership skills, authority to make decisions, drive Regional offices and interact with senior stakeholders when needed.

  • Effective communicator, able to deal with multiple key stakeholders.
