About the role
As Regional Head of E-commerce you are responsible for overall oversight, coordination of Hub’s activities and team & stakeholder management. You will be heading a multi-disciplinary team consisting of IT experts, deployment leads, and ecommerce specialists and ultimately responsible for developing the industry-leading B2B ecommerce platform, accelerate Regional roll-out and empower Regions to get the most out of ecommerce.
Your responsibilities
- Translating trends & developments in e-commerce to strategic plans, and implementing and executing these with your team
- Supporting regions on the regional platform in growing digital revenue by building the hub as a best in practice value creating e-commerce service
- Building the team & office: recruitment, onboarding and reviewing of employees, process design, and building the office
- Capability building: shape environment for effective capability building for both the Regional as well as Hub’s
Stakeholder Management & Success
- Pro-actively maintaining relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive capturing of across-Region synergies for the benefit of the Company as a whole
- Regional e-commerce revenue, growth, and underlying KPIs
- Online customer satisfaction and retention
If you have multiple years of management experience in a large scale, preferably international e-commerce organization. You have a commercial way of thinking, are a proven team leader and coach, and have a sharp eye for dashboards, KPIs, and data driven decision making. You are entrepreneurial, able to translate long-term strategy into concrete plans and take a leading role in driving people to reach common goals. You have strong affinity with digital and are eager to learn about running a successful e-commerce operation.
You will have
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in business or marketing
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a, preferably international, e-commerce organization
- 3-4 years’ experience in an e-commerce management function
- Strong experience in transforming business needs into a Technology Platform
- Good understanding of Supply Chain
- Proven track record of building E-commerce platform from scratch
- Driven by achieving business results, commercially & analytically strong
- Using data insights (dashboards, KPIs) effectively for decision making
- Affinity & interest in digital / e-commerce, able to learn very fast, and eager to continuously improve
- Excellent communication skills, able to forge alliances & align stakeholders
- Proven team leadership skills and an effective problem solver
- Agile way of working and looking forward to building an agile organization
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
