About our client

Our client is a Multinational Shared Service center based in Damansara Height area. It is currently comprised of more than 60 employees in Malaysia.


About the role

To ensure Vendor Master Data is kept up to date and in compliance with Corporate policies.


Your responsibilities

  • Maintenance (i.e. creation/ change) of the master data records in SAP accurately and efficiently in compliance with Corporate policies & procedures within delivery timelines and requirements stipulated in Service Level Agreements (SLA).

  • Ensure compliance to Global Operating Guidelines, policies and procedures including execute and exidency of any JSOX controls in Master Data.

  • Ensure accurate data maintenance by performing monthly Quality Assurance review. Prepare reports to analyze and support master data cleansing activities.

  • Continuously review current processes and monitor performance based on KPI/performance metrics being reported on monthly basis in order to identify and discuss with Team Lead on the potential areas for improvements.

  • Provide support to team lead to ensure objectives/targets are met; assist other team member in handling and resolving Master Data (MD) related issues.

  • Demonstrate commitment to achieve service excellence and be customer focused; and ensure timely communication and resolution of queries/issues. 

  • Provide support to other business partners by developing knowledge of the entity's business and operational needs and provide expert advice/solution on MD related matters.


You will have

  • Diploma / university degree in related area (finance, accounting, economics, business administration)

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Master Data Management, preferably Vendor MDM background.                                     

  • Good command of English (both written and oral).

  • Knowledge and experience in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint & SAP system (preferably).

  • Independent and is able to share thoughts on process improvement.
