About the role

We are looking for a strong leader to drive and execute the overall branding and marketing activities of the Malaysia business which aligning to the global business strategy. You will report to the CEO of Malaysia.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop & Execute brand communication strategy/ marketing plan to drive brand preference, build brand equity & trial for category/ product portfolio.

  • Develop & execute marketing plan yearly/ quarterly/ monthly basis to drive organic growth on existing line-up and successfully introduce new product for category/ product portfolio.

  • Develop & execute with excellence comprehensive launching plans for new product launches including AD development, PR, Digital on time for category/ product portfolio.

  • Understand global product roadmap & develop/ optimize category/ product portfolio by identifying key market dynamics, consumer insights, missing propositions and successfully leading new product launch process for category/ product portfolio.

  • To make sure all communication direction is aligning from global business strategy.

  • Deliver high quality execution and communication towards partners and consumers across P.R, sponsorship, co-promotion, any kind of marking event and digital communication under internal and external collaboration like below.

  • Collaborate with global/ regional partners to obtain agreement on local team’s business strategy/ new product launching plan on time for category/ product portfolio.

  • Collaborate with internal team (Cross Functional team) to develop & execute with excellence effective go-to-market strategy, consumer engagement plan and promotion plans/ calendars for category/ product portfolio.

  • Collaborate with external team (ATL, BTL agency) to develop locally relevant & on brand strategy key plans & deliverables in line with aligned business directions & ensure execution excellence.

  • To have understanding toward Malaysian media landscape (especially consumer and lifestyle desk) and to have existing relationship with them.

  • Always aware of Malaysian viral issue (on social media) and trending design (artwork).


You will have

  • Candidate must possess at least a, Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent.

  • Min 6 years of working experience in the similar roles. Those who has experience in agency environment will be added advantages.

  • Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work independently and cope with pressure.

  • Excellent in written and communication skills.
