About the role

This is an end to end HR generalist position. You will partner a dedicated business group to assist in meeting business unit objectives by managing employee relations issues and HR initiated. This includes talent acquisition, expatriate management, talent management, industrial relation, payroll management, performance management (including; Performance Improvement Plan), training & development.


Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full recruitment cycle from advertisement to on-boarding.

  • Responsible for implementation of talent and succession planning.

  • Ensure an effective employee retention program in place.

  • Drive the implementation of employee performance management exercise. Work with HOD.

  • and managers to formulate, review, and monitor employees’ performance that aligned to company and department goals.

  • Develop a structured approach to training and development to ensure mandatory, professional and commercial needs are met.

  • Provide information on industrial relations matters.

  • Handling expatriate’s working permit matters including working permit application, renewal, termination, etc.

  • Responsible for payroll process, including salary and remunerations processing, government statutory contribution (EPF, SOCSO, PCB).


You will have

  • 5-8 years of working experience as HR generalist / HR. Business Partner covering end-to-end HR.

  • Able to adapt to fast paced environment.

  • Industry experience: fintech, telco or e-commerce.

  • Familiar with relevant legislation i.e. Employment Act.

  • Good working knowledge of the full spectrum of HR. functions and well versed in the local labour legislation.

  • Excellent knowledge of Malaysia payroll, taxation & statutory practices & guidelines.
