About the role

This role will be working closely with the Head of HR to manage and execute HR operational matters especially payroll.

 

Your responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain professional relationships with all peers and subordinates within the group, in order to understand and advance their human capital needs.

  • To advise all levels within the group on organizational policy matters as well as industrial relations policies. To follow through with recommendations and implementation of required changes to the policies and/or behavioral actions of all stakeholders. To provide guidance on process improvements where possible.

  • To serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and assisting in the resolution of work-related problems.

  • To ensure that the Human Resource Executives in the team, processes payroll in a timely manner and with accuracy and to improve on the current processes payroll processing process if deemed necessary.

  • To ensure that the HR Standard Operating Procedures are practiced by all HR personnel and employees diligently. To advise on improvements which can be made the SOPs and follow through with implementation.

  • To analyze and suggest improvements to the current Compensation & Benefíts policies in order to establish competitive programs as well as to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

 

You will have

  • Experience as a HR generalist with hands on experience managing (submitting) payroll (multiple).

  • Experience managing a team with atleast 3 members.

  • Sound knowledge in the Malaysian Employment Act.

  • Experience in managing Labour Court Cases (IR matters).

  • Experience managing multiple organizations within a group.
