Our Client is a Global MNC and leaders in Food & Beverage Industry.


About the role

As the head of Digital, you are responsible for all digital initiatives in the Region (e.g B2C, B2B, iDDM, eRetail).  This includes ownership of the overall strategy, execution and stakeholder management.  You will be heading a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Product, BI, digital marketing and ecommerce partnership managers as well as liaising regularly with the APAC digital hub. As the first Head of Digital in the region, you will be a driving force in setting up the team, vendor selection and budget management.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop a vision and ambition on all digital initiatives in collaboration with the digital hub and translating these into actionable plans, goals, and targets for the region.

  • Lead the digital team – hire and retain talent, guiding them to solve business problems, adopt a fail fast and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Build and maintaining relations with internal stakeholders (GIS, Marketing, Finance, SC) and external stakeholders to drive our digital agenda.

  • Take ownership for digital initiatives and results, take a data driven approach – regularly reviewing business results, look for opportunities to grow the business and proactively solve problems. 

  • Contribute to the digital APAC community - Partnering with other digital/ commercial leads across APAC to share best practices, provide tools and resources to increase digital knowledge in the region.

  • You have the ability to build a digital business and guide the region on its transformation journey. 

  • You have a commercial way of thinking and are a proven team leader. 

  • You are able to translate long-term strategy into concrete plans and take a leading role in driving people to reach common goals.

  • You have a clear vision how ecommerce should be positioned within broader organizations, how it can transform the existing organization in order to reach business goals, and how technology development connects to business goals.

  • Topline/incremental revenue, EBITDA improvement, market share growth.

  • Timely and successful rollout of digital initiatives.


You will have

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in business or marketing.

  • 10+ years of experience in preferably international, ecommerce organization.

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an ecommerce management function.

  • Your profile (behaviors & soft skills).

  • Analytically strong with creative problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, able to identify business processes and routines.

  • Service-oriented, with a proactive mindset.

  • Proven team leadership skills and an effective problem solver.

  • Agile mindset, able & willing to constantly adapt to changing realities.

  • Fluent English speaker.
