About the role

Looking for a FP&A Manager on Contract for 6 months, responsible for contributing to the financial reporting and internal control environment of a growing, fast paced software company. The successful candidate will be a seasoned manager, with outstanding problem solving and people management skills. Assist the senior management in creating a best-in-class Shared Service Center processes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage the review process of some key Corporate Reports published by the Kuala Lumpur, FP&A Team.

  • Supervise and support the staff in supervising and training to accountants in the offshore global shared services center.

  • Work in a Jira (Ticketing System) environment.  Creating dashboard, tracking the tickets from time taken to resource utilization.

  • Identify and execute departmental efficiencies and improvements to the existing processes and reports.

  • Implementing automation to some key reports, requiring heavy excel workbooks.

  • Assist the company in implementing SOX controls and ensure compliance with applicable internal control policies and procedures.

  • Assist with the integration of acquired companies.

  • Work cross-functionally with other groups to foresee potential process fallouts and recommend practical solutions associated with process.

  • Work closely with the team on variance analysis and tracking key metrics on the performances of various Business Units.

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

 

You will have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, advanced degree preferred.

  • SOX experience.

  • Prior management experience, preferably in a Software/ SAAS company in a Shared Service Environment.

  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience.

  • Netsuite and Adaptive (Planning tool by Workday) experience a plus.

  • Project Management exposure, using SmartSheets, Jira, etc. is preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.

  • Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Good listener with the ability to understand and solve problems.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to cultivate strong cross functional relationships.

  • Advanced excel skills.
