About the role

Our client is looking for a finance manager for APAC with a duo reporting line into Group Finance Manager and Business Head based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

  • Strictly monitor cost & expenses, conduct reviews and evolution of cost reduction opportunities of Singapore and other assigned companies, including Capex spending 
  • Preparation of Monthly Information System (MIS) Reporting to Group, statutory audits and internal audits within set deadline including accurate and timely payments of all local taxes, Government dues and filing Returns 
  • Implementation of SAP system throughout Asia Pacific operations (Singapore, Malaysia and China)
  • Treasury operations including foreign currency transactions and documentation for APAC countries
  • Continuously review accounting processes and systems in the light of business requirements and identifies changes that are necessary to control the risks and/or improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Review Asia Pacific region customer credit applications and Job retail costing prepared by Sales Team and make recommendations 
  • To act in a leadership capacity, deal with issues & demonstrate innovation and initiative in presenting ideas and solutions 
  • To work closely with Operations & Sales team for cash flow & working capital Management for upcoming projects in Offshore business 

You will have

  • A minimum of 5 Year of Post Qualification Experience working in similar or deputy position in Accounts or Finance division in any Singapore or MNC company
  • Experience with Big 4 audit firm would be an added advantage  
  • Excellent in Microsoft Excel skill 
  • Hands-on SAP by Design system knowledge in a multi-location business environment
  • IFRS Accounting and Transfer pricing regulation knowledge would be a plus
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction
