About the role

Coordinate activities of staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of cases that are overlooked. Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy.

  • Supporting Head of Department, Collection by taking charge in all Collection related matters including:​​​

    • Monitoring of all activities in CMS Team.

    • Monitor/ Backup activities in relation to matters relating to Collection.

    • Review and enhance for the collection department flow to the better environment.

    • Maintain good relationship with external parties in relation to collection.

    • Involved in all area in collection department as and when required.

  • To take charge in reviewing, formulating and implementing existing or new policies, procedures and special projects towards enhancing efficiency without compromising internal controls in Collection while meeting the relevant regulatory requirements.

  • To take charge in reviewing and planning staff development, succession planning and training needs for the Department.

  • To take charge in managing, developing and motivating Team to achieve their objectives.

 

You will have

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting.

  • Minimum 7 years working experience in credit operations in a financial institution or financial services industry.

  • Meticulous, able to work under pressure and desire to learn and grow within the role.

  • Flexibility in working extended hours during peak hours.

  • Able to work with team environment and have good customer service experiences.

  • Matured personality with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people from all levels.

  • Strong sense of responsibility can be depended upon to complete assignments conscientiously and independently in a timely manner.

  • Strategic thinker, proactive and able to multi-task.

  • Strong interpersonal and good communication skills with fluency in verbal and written English.

  • Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen & willing to work in KL.

  • Experience in leading a team of at least 6 members is required for this role.

  • Good in Excel & PowerPoint Presentation.

  • Age range 32-37.
