About our client

Our client is a global public listed company with office in Klan Valley that’s provides industrial machinery services.


About the role

It will be your mission to define and implement a strategy to develop the business in all its aspects (equipment and aftermarket) by developing the existing team and growing the business both organically and through acquisitions.


Your responsibilities

You will have the following strategic / tactical tasks:

  • Follow up the business development (orders received, orders invoiced, profitability), report to the Divisional Management and initiate corrective actions.

  • Analyze the market structure in SE Asia, segment the market and define a go to market strategy.

  • Develop and implement a competent channel to the market, both direct and indirect.

  • In close cooperation with the product managers and key people in the Customer Centers, identify the gaps in our product offering.

  • Key account management of the large hospital groups, gas companies and installers/distributors.

  • Develop and implement a regional marketing communication plan in close cooperation with the divisional communications team. 

  • Develop and implement a training plan for the channels and customers.

  • Build a network with the regulatory bodies throughout the region.


You will have the following operational tasks:

  • Run the Business Review Meetings for your territory, depending on the setup in the respective Customer Centers.

  • Price management in close cooperation with the Customer Centers and Product Managers.

  • Support Customer Centers in Europe in large projects / tenders / orders.

  • Ensure that Customer Centers develop the right channels to market and support with product trainings.

  • Join sales engineers and distributors in selected sales visits to keep a close interaction and feeling with our customers and their needs.

  • In close cooperation with the communications team, you will define the key marketing messages for your territory and coordinate implementation in the CCs.

  • Lead the organization of customer events with strong support of the Customer Centers, communications team and product managers.

  • Analysis of our competitor’s product portfolio and feed back to the product managers.

  • Visit and participate in selected product shows and fairs.

  • Realize the full potential of digitalization trends.


 You will have the following project management tasks:

  • Set up of dedicated medical aftermarket in selected territories

  • Close involvement in acquisition projects in your territory


You will have

  • Proven track record of business development and/or sales & marketing in a B2B environment.

  • Experience and business network in the healthcare segment and preferably in the medical gas market.

  • Experience in running installation and aftermarket operations is an asset.

  • A university degree in a relevant subject or equivalent working experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • Require extensive travel within the region.

  • A strong knowledge of English is a requirement.
