Global supplier for cloud based on-demand software, expanding their IT Centre in Malaysia.

 

About the role

The Integration Engineer is a technical and passionate individual who enjoys defining, building, validating and operating mission-critical interfaces.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Consult with trading partners on behalf of internal business owners to define data exchange specifications, interface delivery timelines and interface operations standard-operating procedures.

  • Design and model data flows and ETL procedures ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • Understand integration & reporting requirements and model data flows as well as ETL procedures ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • Design and develop reliable service/data integrations between multiple systems with various core business systems.

  • Create, monitor, operate and maintain interfaces using ETL Tools, JavaScript, Microsoft T-SQL and other technologies.

  • Manage projects and work items to ensure that requests and issues are closed in a timely manner commensurate with customer commitments and priority-level-based SLAs.

  • Design, develop and manage out of the box interfaces/code libraries in Mirth, SQL and customize for client implementations as needed.

  • Maintain best-in-class availability, reliability and integrity for core system solutions.

  • Create and maintain interface specification documentation for all interfaces created or modified.

  • Perform other functions as required.

 

You will have

  • 3-5 years of Boomi integration experience, experience integrating at least 1 of the following SaaS solutions (Salesforce, UltiPro, NetSuite (OpenAir, ERP), Active Directory, Concur Solutions, Host Analytics or Adaptive Insights.

  • A passion for deeply understanding specifications, clearly and effectively collaborating with partners around data specifications and demonstrating flexibility in making adjustments to the specifications in the spirit of customer success.

  • Experience using ETL Tools, SSIS, Mirth.

  • Solid JavaScript, Microsoft T-SQL skills.

  • Experience With XML.

  • Working knowledge of HL7 2.x, CCD/CCDA and HIPAA ANSI X12 messaging standards.

  • Experience working with Web services, REST APIs.

  • Experience with Agile development model and scrum is preferred.

  • Knowledge of using code version control systems such as Git, SVN etc.

  • Great teamwork and communication skills.

  • Great documentation, design and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity environment.

  • Self-starter and able to multitask with minimal supervision.

  • Understand basic process improvement concepts.

  • Able to perform in situations where the initial objectives are unclear.

  • Ability to travel nationwide up to 10%.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
