Our client is one of the leading primary healthcare providers in Malaysia.

 

About the role

To ensure the internal controls of the business, such as operations, policies, procedures and financial aspects are sufficient to produce an optimum level of efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible to execute operation audit and assess clinic’s operations, process, financial are in compliance with the Company’s Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s).

  • Establish operational audit plan, audit scope and programme.

  • Conduct risk assessment and identify control to mitigate risk.

  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes, based on audit outcomes, to minimize risks.

  • Prepare and present quality reports of audit findings and recommendations.

  • Review internal controls and recommend corrective actions as appropriate.

  • Recommend improvements and changes to SOPs.

  • Identify control gaps and opportunity for improvement.

  • Develop strategic initiatives to maintain and improve the audit function.

 

You will have

  • A recognised degree or a professional qualification in Accounting/Finance/Business or in any related disciplines.

  • Professional audit certification encouraged.

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in auditing and compliance of internal process with some supervisory experience.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, demonstrating ability to write objective and value adding reports independently.

  • Exercise professional judgment, objectivity and discretion.

  • Ability to foster a participative and cooperative work environment.

  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with ability to clearly explain controls to be tested and risks identified.

  • Ability to adapt to change and able to multi-tasking.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.

  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.

  • This role will require you to work every alternate Saturday (half day).
