About the role
The role involves managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing stock. Responsibilities include preparing orders for delivery, inventory control, stock rotation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the role entails coordinating with the logistics team, conducting stock counts, operating warehouse equipment, and supporting warehouse improvement initiatives for enhanced operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities
Receive, unload, and store incoming stock in designated areas.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
Perform inventory controls and keep accurate records of warehouse stock levels.
Ensure stock rotation and proper storage to minimize product damage and spoilage.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Monitor stock levels and replenish inventory as needed.
Coordinate with logistics team to schedule deliveries and pickups.
Assist in conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Assist in the implementation of warehouse improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
You will have
2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a retail or distribution environment.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid forklift operator certification (preferred).
Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
