About the role
The Business Intelligence Analyst (Junior level) will play a key role in supporting the Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics functions within the company. This role will involve assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting to provide actionable insights that drive business performance and support decision-making across various departments. Your responsibilities
Assist in collecting and organizing data from multiple sources, including internal databases, ERP systems, and external sources, to support BI and analytics initiatives.
Conduct data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software to extract meaningful insights and trends from large datasets.
Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver timely and accurate analysis and reporting solutions.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights and analysis.
Participate in ad-hoc analysis projects and initiatives to address specific business questions or challenges as they arise.
Assist in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing data validation and quality assurance checks.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Provide support to senior BI analysts and managers in executing BI strategies and initiatives, including data governance, data modeling, and advanced analytics.
Contribute to a positive team culture by actively participating in team meetings, sharing insights and knowledge, and fostering collaboration and innovation.
You will have
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, statistics, or a related field. FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY!
1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field is preferred but not required for this junior role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in data analysis and reporting.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in business intelligence and analytics.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
