​About our client

Our client is a conglomerate and a recognizable household name globally, based out of SEA.

About the role

The incumbent for this role will manage a team of 55 with 8 direct reports across the globe. The incumbent is required to have an extensive amount of experience (more than 15 years) across all HR verticals and specialization. This role will report to the Group CEO and having a dotted line to the Board of Directors for matters relating to Human Resources and Policy relating to Human Resources.

Your responsibilities

  • Direct all HR related training, planning, and skill building of the HR staff to prepare them for future growth for the company and individual career paths.

  • Serve as a group business partner in HR related matters.

  • Serve as the first point of escalation, communicates business developments and organizational change to subordinates, and addresses and resolves employee concerns.

  • Promotes ethical and cultural awareness to the workforce through training, development, and consultation.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and compliance of Human Resource policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee handbooks, communications, and/or meetings.

  • Prepare reports in conformance with legislated and legal requirements or company needs. Communicate changes in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed.

  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting as determined by the Vice President of General Administration. business.

  • Responsible for continuous improvement and innovation as it relates to improving processes, addressing performance, creating action plans, and ensuring proper training and development of employees.

  • Actively participate and work with the TA team in developing recruitment plans, and being involved in the interviewing and hiring process of key talents in the organization.

You will have

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or university required, Master's degree preferred; and over ten years related experience in Human Resource management function with a minimum of 5 years in a Director level position.
